You are invited to the 2026 Calgary Northstars Spring Identification Camp, designed for elite players looking to advance to the next level. This high-intensity, competitive camp provides athletes the opportunity to be evaluated by CNHA coaches while identifying areas of strength and improvement to focus on over the summer in preparation for the 2026/27 season.

Hockey Alberta has authorized associations to host Spring Identification Camps and pre-commit athletes for the 2026/27 AAA season. Non-returning CNHA players must attend this camp to be eligible for one of these potential commitments. CNHA is not required to use any or all pre-committed spots, but commitments may be offered to players who impress the coaching staffs.

Players will be evaluated on competitiveness, skating, puck skills, hockey IQ, offensive ability, defensive reliability, teamwork, and coachability. Interviews and pre-task questions may also be conducted to ensure players and families align with CNHA values and culture.

Any player receiving a commitment must still attend fall tryouts (August/September), submit a registration deposit, follow CNHA off-season training guidelines, and adhere to the Code of Conduct. No player attending the Spring ID Camp will be released or cut at this time. Traditional tryouts will remain the primary evaluation process, with this camp serving as a springboard into the fall.
